- Day 1: Arusha tour/ walking safari in Arusha N.P
- Day 2: From Arusha, transfer to Lake Manyara National Park
- Day 3: From Lake Manyara transfer to Serengeti National Park
- Day 4: Full day experience at Serengeti National Park
- Day 5: Transfer from Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
- Day 6: Have Ngorongoro Crater tour, Tarangire National Park.
- Day 7: Game drive at Tarangire and return to Arusha.
Detailed Itinerary 7 Days Wildebeest safari
Day 1: Arrival point> Arusha. Arrive most probably at Kilimanjaro International Airport, meet your Tanzania tour guide for transfer to hotel in Arusha. Depending on the time of arrival, you check-in at the hotel for overnight. The Arusha tour is a short trip lasting only about 3 hours walking on foot with a professional tour guide. During the tour, see several sites like the Natural History Museum, monuments, local markets, and craft shops. After the tour, be transferred to the booked hotel in Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Arusha> Lake Manyara National Park. After breakfast at the hotel, an allocated Tanzania tour guide will be at the hotel or place of residence for pick up and briefing on the trip. After the briefing, you will then drive to Lake Manyara National Park. After arrival at the park, you have lunch then proceed for an afternoon game drive.
The park is home to the shallow soda lakes which attracts a variety of wildlife species including one of Africa’s largest concentration of elephants. One of the unique attractions in the park includes the tree climbing lions as well as the large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake. After the game drive, you transfer to a booked hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Lake Manyara> Serengeti National Park. Start the day with breakfast then transfer to Serengeti National Park driving through the beautiful high lying farmlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Serengeti plains are at times referred to as endless because of the vastness of the park. Lunch on the way, gamedrive en-route to the lodge or campsite, according to what you have booked. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park. Have breakfast then go for a full-day game drive in the Serengeti plains. The game drive takes you along the Sogore River circuit which twists into the plains south of the Seronera River. Since this is a water area, wildlife collects in this area to quench its thirst. Some of the wildlife animals to look out for here include lions, Thomson gazelle, topi, and cheetahs.
After the morning game drive, return to the hotel for lunch or have a picnic lunch. Later in the afternoon take a game drive on the kopjes. After this evening game drive, return to a preferred accommodation facility for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Serengeti > Ngorongoro Crater. After breakfast in the Serengeti another gamedrive, return to the campsite or lodge for lunch and depart for Ngorongoro.Transfer to preferred booked lodge or campsite for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater> Tarangire . Following breakfast, you will head out to the beautiful Ngorongoro crater for a tour. Have a game drive in the crater then enjoying a picnic lunch at the famous hippo pool. After enjoying lunch with very spectacular views, you will then be transferred to Tarangire National Park.
On arrival at the park, check-in and drive through the gigantic Baobab at the entrance, see the mischievous monkeys darting about in the shade. Continue inside the park to the Tarangire River that is lined with acacia and Baobab where wildlife cluster all day long. With the river being a collective point for most of the wildlife from the Masai steppe. Have a short game drive to your booked accommodation facility for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Tarangire> Arusha. Following breakfast, head out to the park for a game drive. Some of the animals that can be spotted here include the greater kudu, fringe-eared oryx, and the ashy starling.
After the game drive, have a picnic lunch with a view of the Tarangire River, but be watchful of your food as the monkeys will roam around. After lunch has another game drive then transfer back to Arusha.
