A 7 DAY KENYA SAFARI TO MASAI MARA, LAKE NAKURU, AND AMBROSELI NATIONAL PARK

 

DAY 1:
Kenya,Nairobi

 On your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our company  representative who will transfer you to the Safari Park Hotel. Depending on your time of arrival, you will have a chance to explore Nairobi town. Overnight at Kenya Safari park Hotel.

 

DAY 2:

Kenya Masai Mara National Reserve

 This morning, you'll travel towards fertile highlands of Kenya and leading down the Rift Escarpment on a road built by Italian prisoners of war during World War 11. Have a glimpse for the attractive chapel they built at the foot of the escarpment. Pass via the magnificent Longonot earth satellite station as you proceed across the Valley to Narok. Move across acres of barley and wheat, before you reach the Masai Mara. After lunch, take a nap before taking an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge as the sunsets. Overnight at Mara Sopa Safari Lodge (FB)

 

DAY 3:

Kenya Masai Mara National Reserve

Following breakfast, go for a morning game drive in the Masai Mara followed by an afternoon game. Overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge (FB)

 

DAY 4:

Lake Nakuru National Park

 After breakfast, you'll observe the world across the 'breadbasket' of Kenya, where acres of wheat and barley litter the landscape as you head north to Narok, the district headquarters of this part of Masai land. Cross the vast plains on the floor of the Rift Valley, to encounter herds of giraffe and gazelle as you head up the Mau Escarpment, before arriving at your destination, Lake Nakuru. The waters here are often coloured sparkling flamingo pink, from thousands of the attractive birds lining its shores. Once in the park, there will be a game drive en route to the lodge. Have lunch and rest a bit in preparation for an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge in the evening. Overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge (FB)

 

DAY 5:

Kenya Amboseli National Park

 Start a trip across the top of the Rift Valley Escarpment, providing outstanding views of Elementaita, Lakes Naivasha, dormant Longonot volcano at a centripetal stage and the Great Rift Valley. Continue via the Kenya's highlands, for lunch in Nairobi before proceeding south across the Athi Plains to the border town of Namanga. Here you'll divert east to Amboseli National Park at the base of grand Mount Kilimanjaro, home to a wealth of wildlife but particularly known for its elephants. Arrive your at the lodge with game viewing en-route. Over night at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge  (FB)

 

Day 6:

Amboseli National Park

 Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in Amboseli, returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

 

DAY 7: Day of Departure

 After breakfast take a game drive and you'll hopefully catch your last clear early morning view of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro as you leave Amboseli behind, while heading west to the brilliant border town of Namanga. Continue north along a good tarmac road across the stunning and apparently never ending Athi Plains, arriving in Kenya's lively capital City of Nairobi by mid day.
