Kichwamba Orphanage Foundation 

Kichwamba is a district located in the beautiful country of Uganda, holds within its heart a profound initiative known as the Kichwamba Orphanage Foundation (KOF).

Nestled in the Rubirizi district, KOF is a charitable organization that radiates hope and compassion, dedicated to restoring the lives of those who have endured immense hardships.

With a resolute commitment to uplifting orphans, vulnerable children, and the elderly who have lost their loved ones to wildlife attacks, anti-poaching ranger patrols, HIV/AIDS, wars, and poverty, KOF seeks to transform despair into opportunity.

Since its inception in 2018 with a modest number of 40 orphan children, KOF has blossomed remarkably, embracing and nurturing over 150 orphans spanning various age groups, some as young as three years old.

Through care, education, and empowerment, KOF strives to pave a path of resilience and self-sufficiency, fostering a brighter future for those in their care and extending their positive influence to the wider community they serve.

The Kataara Women’s Poverty Alleviation Group, with its eco-inclusive approach, has demonstrated numerous impactful initiatives that extend beyond poverty alleviation.
