Detailed Itinerary – 3 Days Maasai Mara Safari Kenya
Day 1: Depart Nairobi for Masai Mara and Afternoon Game Drive:
On this 3 Days Maasai Mara tour of Kenya, the Jewel Safari guide will meet you in your hotel in Nairobi; after a short briefing, you will depart in our Safari vehicle for Masai Mara National Reserve.
Arrival time will be around lunchtime and after checking into your hotel, you will be served lunch. After lunch, your guide will take you on an afternoon Game Drive, which lasts 3 or 4 hours. Masai Mara is famous for the cats; lions, cheetahs, leopards are all present in the Park and there are many of them to see. In addition, Masai Mara does have dozens of mammals to view, such as the zebra, elephant, buffalo, various antelopes as well as warthogs, wildebeests, eland, and hundreds of bird species.
After the game drive, you will be returned to your hotel for dinner and a good night’s sleep.
Day 2: Game Drive and/or Balloon Ride
After breakfast in your hotel, you will either go for a morning Game Drive or a Balloon Ride.
The Balloon Ride is a totally different perspective; seeing the wildlife roaming the plains of Masai Mara, with a bird’s eye view can be quite extraordinary.
Return to the hotel for lunch and a little relaxation.
After lunch, another Game Drive and/or Balloon Ride to further explore Masa Mara and the wildlife viewing opportunities therein.
Return to your hotel for dinner.
Day 3: Return to Nairobi with Masai Village en route.
On the last day of this 3 Days Masai Mara Safari Kenya, after Breakfast, you will depart Masai Mara for Nairobi. En route, you will stop at a Masai Settlement to encounter one of the last traditional tribes in Africa. The Masai are herders as well as hunters and gatherers; living as they have for centuries.
Lunch will be en route, either in Narok town or one of the many towns off the road. Here you will be taken to a local Kenyan restaurant to experience some traditional food.
After lunch you will continue your drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon.

Maasai Mara National Park Kenya – Information
This is the most famous and most visited of the Wildlife Parks in Kenya; 270 km from Nairobi (4-5 hours by road). Here in Masai Mara one can find large numbers of Masai Lions, African Leopards, and Tanzanian Cheetahs; the biggest spectacle in East Africa also takes place here….the Wildebeest Migration to and from the Serengeti (Tanzania) from July to October.

1. The Governor’s Camp
The Governor’s Camp has provided overnight accommodation for over a century. It is nestled in the forest along the winding banks of the Mara River. The River itself is alive with hippos, crocodiles, and many bird species.
