Though gorilla trekking in Uganda is an all year round activity and tourists can visit when they are able to, however, the best time to go gorilla trekking in Uganda in some specific months. These are the months that form the dry seasons in the country and are much more favorable seasons to go gorilla trekking in Uganda rather than during the rainy season.

The two seasons that form the best time to visit Uganda for gorilla trekking are the short dry season in the months of December to February and the long dry season from June to September. Months of June, July, August, September, December, January and February are the best months to take Uganda gorilla tours. In these months, the rain totals are low which makes mobility during gorilla trekking easier making the whole experience worth it.
