This 3 Days Tsavo East and Amboseli Safari in Kenya is a combination of two National Parks in Kenya that is Tsavo East National Park and Amboseli National Park which are both iconic tourist attractions to Kenya. Tsavo East National Park is particularly renowned for its large herds of elephants and captivating landscapes and is also one of the largest game sanctuaries. Amboseli National Park is Kenya’s second most popular park, famous for being the highest elephant concentration area in the world and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991 on account of its unique ecological systems.
The parks have a variety of wildlife that include mammals and bird species, some animals include herds of elephants, lions, giraffes, leopards, buffalos, hyenas to mention a few.
Brief itinerary – 3 Days Tsavo East and Amboseli Safari in Kenya
- Day 1: Transfer to Tsavo East National Park-Afternoon game drive
- Day 2: Transfer to Amboseli National Park
- Day 3: Departure to Mombasa
Detailed Itinerary – 3 Days Tsavo East and Amboseli safari Kenya
Day 1: Mombasa > Tsavo East national park. On the first day our safari driver guide will pick you from the hotel or airport very early in the morning. You will depart using Mombasa-Nairobi highway leading to Tsavo East National Park and you will enter the park via Buchuma gate. You will proceed with the safari heading to the lodge with high opportunities of spotting wildlife.
Upon arrival at the lodge, you will check-in and have lunch. Shortly after lunch, you will head out for the afternoon game drive, spotting elephants, man-eaters of Tsavo, buffaloes, cheetahs, lions, giraffes, antelopes, leopards and so many others. Later in the evening, head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Tsavo > Amboseli National Park. After breakfast you will depart for Amboseli National Park with an en-route game drive to have the last spot of wildlife as we exit Tsavo East National Park. You will proceed to Amboseli National Park using Mombasa- Nairobi highway. Upon reaching the Amboseli entrance gate, you will have another game drive while heading to lodge. Check-in at the lodge and have lunch.
You will have a short relaxation then head for afternoon game drive where you will view Africa’s highest snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro from the distance. After your game drive, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Amboseli> Mombasa. After breakfast you enjoy the last moments of Amboseli National Park before setting off to Mombasa town. You will have lunch along the way then proceed to Mombasa where you arrive in the evening. Optional drop of at your hotel or if you fly to your next destination at the airport.
